What is a good solid tangible investment (art, coins) for a layman?

I am looking for an alternative investment to the stockmarket. Something that would be tangible during a total market crash if one where to ever happen. I thought about land but you have to pay property tax. I tought about gold coins Well art is like stocks and you have to know about it or you could make some bad descisions.

Fun crafts to do or make for my 1 year old son?

If you know of any ideas or websites, please let me know. It could be for a scrapbook, a fun toy, etc. Just any fun idea. I found one idea for making jingle bell socks and I’ve heard of people making ghosts out of footprints ….so it could be something along those lines as well. Thanks!

What do you think about an 8 year old child singing reggaeton music about having ***?

I just saw this little kid singing reggaeton music about having *** just because he is a “star” and ******** girls on the tv video.
I just think is too much because is being used to get money out from him.

Where can teens find jobs in the east valley?

My cousins have just moved to the valley. Where can younger teenagers find jobs that will be fun, and offer enough hours so their parents don’t have to keep giving them money?

What makes a GREAT photographer? Look at these Nepalese kids’ shots?

If you visit the BBC news website, you’ll find a series of photos shot by children in Nepal as part of a photo project documenting their lives. Some of this stuff is AMAZING - lighting, composition, color … who wouldn’t be proud to have taken these shots?

So here’s the question - how did they do it? Is this the result of an approach that is “all heart” without any emphasis on technique? I don’t want to romanticize childhood or abject poverty or anything like that. But I want to know what, if anything, photographers might be able to learn (philosophically, aesthetically, etc.) from this?

Thanks for your time!

Which of the following would most likely prevent a male from being ***** by a bigger male in prison?

Let’s say these are your only options:
-Offer to pay protection
-Fight
-Cry
-Ignore him
-Beg
-Negotiate for only oral
-Make a joke
-Threaten to make him “your” punk
-Run
-Say you have aids
-Say you were born without an **** and hope he thinks that’s medically possible
-Scream
-Say he could do better than you and push the closest other guy in his direction
-Tell him that you have seen “The Karate Kid” movie 6 times

Why do many US churches want our kids so bad?

It seems they want to brainwash us all to believe in the Christian religion and some say it is money but they even try to get poor people. Why do you think this is? Why do they use Christianity of all religions
Jeff Murdoch,

You are generalizing that all poor people are rabble and stupid. I am poor and i have some college education and even if I did not, I have commonsense. People become poor for all different reasons and I am offended that you think everyone who is not rich is stupid and is trash. For that, I give you a thumbs down.
Jeff Murdoch,

Thanks for coming back and clarifying what you meant :)!
No, it isn’t that I am stupid, it is just that I thought you should have explained yourself in a way that did not sound so insulting and judgmental. I am very educated for I can think for myself and do not follow things blindly. Being poor does not = dim witted. It is harder to have book smarts and degrees to get a decent job though.
yes..I understand what you mean but those Pastors are just idiots themselves, anyhow.
