If u are smart and have your whole life on the smarts and knowledge does that mean u are a nerd or geek?

Ever since I was 8 I loved 2 find information on people places and things. Religion is real important for me, so I started looking it up and learning up almost every religion under thye sun. I have almost nothing else 2 do. Spelling bees have always been easy for me and math is plain simple. Im in a new school now and I am called a geek and nerd.
Is this bad? Do I need to stop learning different information and start acting like a kid? I have always talked 2 an adult like an adult, I have been in chat rooms and the other teens think I am an older person. It really *****! What do I do?

Any cheap web page building sites that are kid friendly?

I am trying to build a web page for my Brownie Troop, and have had no luck finding one that has kid friendly advertising and a kid like theme. We have very little money, and need it to be very cheap.

Why do all these adults **** the internet i.e. myspace and stuff?

like of course bad stuff happens to kids from being online but so what. It’s wonderful that they inform us to be careful but they don’t need to make it sound bad. Everything’s dangerous technically if you don’t know what you’re doing so why do they make it sound evil? (Yes, it’s new, people don’t know a lot about it, i know.)

what to do with these kids? (nanny job)?

for a week i am nannying a 10 yr. old boy & an 8 yr. old girl in the mornings, and then switching to a 6 yr. old boy in the afternoons.

i’ve been wracking my brain, but can’t think of anything really fun to keep them busy. im not super active, but was hoping for some low-key but exciting activities for these great kids.

thanks in advance!
bythe way, we will have access to a pool, but the kids only seem to wanna stay there when i go in as well, and right now it’s just too cold!

For those of you without kids. what are your summer vacation plans?

Just curious, because I am trying to plan my husband and I’s vacation for this summer and need some ideas, I think we’ll be taking a road trip but not 100% sure. The reason I ask without kids is I don’t really care to go to kid themed places (Disney, etc.)

ok. i missed geography and history from a move?

I moved to a new school my 8th grade year and at the new school geography and presidental history was taught in 7th grande and at my previous school it was taught in 8th….so i missed out totally. i’m 23 now now, married, 2 kids and I was just reading something and it said something about a guy named Martin Van Buren and that he was a president at one time. Ok I know i’m not stupid, but i’ve never heard of this guy b4. Did the USA really have a president named Martin Van Buren? Why have I not heard his name b4? Was he a flop or what? I know this question migh seem silly to most of you but i’m very serious….i’ve never heard of this guy! someone fill me in please!

Is keyboard worth learning just so i can play specific songs?

Did anyone else learn like this? Teach themselves the basics so they could download sheet music to play there favourite tunes? Is it easy or would it require a big commitment (ie proper lessons)
