Right now I own a Kodak EasyShare DX7590. It’s big. I love the 10x zoom on it, but the thing is MASSIVE. I need a smaller camera that allows for those lovely hold the camera over the head drunken club photos (I am a college kid, don’t judge). I don’t mind giving up some zoom, but I am not willing to go lower than 5x zoom. I would like something with more mp, at least 7mp. I am looking for a camera with really good macro capabilities ( I like to get real close) and GREAT image quality. A viewfinder isn’t necessary but is a very huge plus.
I am looking for answers from people who KNOW THEIR STUFF, not just telling me that one camera is prettier than another.
And of course, I’m on a budget. I don’t want to spend more then $350 at the absolute most.
I forgot: I am also looking for one with a lithium ion batter/charger (or equivalent). I don’t like fussing with AA batteries… but again… not a necessity.

Am interested in fish perhaps or a small pet, mainly will be handled by myself in case of any allergies or issues with bacteria. Please anyone have suggestions or have had a class pet for young children. I will be keeping and taking care of it during breaks.

My family looked at lab puppies over the weekend. We’ve got 3 kids- a 7 yr old, a 5 yr old, and a 15 month old. We love dogs, even the 15 month old loves dogs, and these puppies, of course, were very cute. Also, we found 2 that were calm and non-chewy, even at 9 weeks. That is, they played but didn’t try to knock down the baby. When they tried chewing on our hands and we pushed them gently away, they simply stopped, whereas the others just tried to chew shoelaces. I don’t know how unusual it is to find Lab pups that can be that calm so quickly, the others I’ve seen were all high, high energy. Anyway, we are thinking of adding these two puppies to our family, but I wonder if we are nutty! We would crate train them, my husband gets up at 5 to go to work and he’d walk them first thing; I stay home; we have a fenced yard and a large home; we’d take them to dog beach and park; they’d be indoor family pets. My toddler is an easy kid. We can do the work, will it be too much work?

In the Halloween section 4-5 people ask a question each minute so I’m not getting any answers.
Ok here’s my question I have 1 niece and 5 nephews between the ages of two and four. two 2 y/o one 3 y/o and three 4 y/o My niece is one of the 4 year olds just to let you know. Anyway I was wondering if you know any good games or food ideas for kids their age. I will try and find some on the internet but I was just wondering if you have any good games or foods that you would like to share.
Thanks,
Ren

The struggles of single parenthood is very overwhelming at times - especially when you don’t have alot of support with the child. Was thinking seriously about putting him in boarding school so I can struggle a little less, and he can get a great education.

I’ve seen the comercial, and it looks as if it you can play all the chords on it. But could it teach Kids 13+ to play the guitar? It makes it look as if it’s for Todlers.

Grandpa has an urn slot (not sure what that’s called, I’m sure there’s a name) along the cemetery wall so there is not much room for plants or flowers - it’s along a sidewalk.
I was thinking of letting the grand kids create a little sand art in front of it - Buddhist style - to blow away in the wind. Do you like this idea? I believe it’s practiced for Dia de los muertos too, and he was latino.
