does anyone have any successful party ideas for a 2nd bday cookout party?

my son and my neice’s 2nd bday is on the same day and we are having a small cookout with at the MOST 16 kids. I need some successful party ideas such as toddler games and activities to keep them entertained for 2 hours.

Are my blood pressure and pulse good for someone my age?

BP 112/56 pulse 66. I’m a 21-year-old female, reasonably active, 5′5 140 lbs. On websites they give broad ranges for BP and pulse. Are mine good considering my age and situation? Are they above or below average? I’m wondering because I recently read some news stories about kids who are starting to get high blood pressure

What is up with kids these days?

My youngest brother is 19 and fresh out of high school, I worry sometimes because he spends his day playing PC games and browsing the net, forums, watching TV, etc. He has no job. One of his friends now lives on the streets after high school. My neighbors son is in the same boat as my bro. I see this happening to a lot of kids, they don’t know what to do. They feel like losers, nobodies, hopeless.

What is the name of the active gaming console for kids?

I have seen a game console for kids that works like a Wii on commercials, but I can’t remember the name of it. It seems to target preschool aged children. They have to jump and move around to make it work. Any ideas what it’s called?

Does the New York Times bestseller list hurt the publicity of good new books?

Many bookstores discount NYT bestsellers, which increases the sales of those books, which means they will spend more time on the NYT besteller list, which means that their price will be discounted…
5 CommentsI just wish there was more of a way to rotate different books through those lists, so that we don’t keep seeing Tuesdays with Morrie and The World is Flat and Obama’s latest book week after week after week.
I’ve got a feeling that there are a lot of good books just outside the bestseller lists that could use a good boost of publicity and price discounting.
