My high school daughter and her teen age friends keep telling me about a murder that occured in a haunted house in Las Vegas a “few years back”. According to these kids a mad man got into the haunted house with a real chainsaw and ***** and murdered a woman (some kids say multiple people were murdered). I have lived here in Las Vegas a long time and I have never heard of this. I have tried snopes.com and google and I can’t find this story at all — let alone proof if it is true or not. Has anyone else heard this haunted house chainsaw murder story before???
Just to clarify, This was not a house that was really haunted , but a haunted house “experience” open to the public during Halloween season (according to the story).

My friend invite me to Hong Kong with her recently, but I’ve been to Hong Kong before, there’s only shopping or go to Hong Kong Disney Land. Is there any other else recommend to do or to go in Hong Kong?

I need two science project ideas. I go to a fairly advanced high school, and my teacher is looking for ideas complex enough for our level. The topic should preferably be chemistry related, but it can really be anything we want. Help!
Oh, and I’ve already checked all those websites they have. Please don’t just put links to those. Thank you!

How many others are sick of this stupid belief that the moon landings were faked. It is becoming an epidemic by kids who know nothing about space and the space program, except the garbage that Fox news put out some time ago.
If these kids did some researcha and realised the extent and intensity of the Apollo program, they would realise that though any big producer could fake a moon walk in the New Mexico desert, it is absolutely 100% impossible to get that into the systems of computers and monitors at mission control, and fool hundreds of controllers working 3 shifts, 24/7, over the course of 7 years.
Also, there was the radio telescope in Australia that NASA commissioned to monitor the landings when Houston was in its night time. How did the fakers do that one?
Read the facts, please, and not that Fox news stuff that was put out by people like you who do not understand that the moon is entirely different to Earth.

I am considering going to Brussels for a few months to assist a friend who lives there. I have two school age children. Would I be able to enroll them in school for the time we are there. I would also keep them up on their school work from their American school, but would like them to experience school in Belgium. They know some French and are in kindergarten and first grade so could pick up language quickly. Thoughts, advice, pros, cons - all welcome.

Is it rude to let my 9 year old son play with his friends in the common area of our condo? I have had 2 complaints from neighbors (both older, middle aged women with grown children) that the kids are too loud. Where do they expect kids to play? They are as loud as normal children are- not excessive. Is this my problem or theirs?
